I take umbrage at the “old man’s disease.” I’m 64 and I have it.
I do not have the reference, but a recent large NIH sponsored study of the effect of selenium on the development of heart disease showed a 30% reduction in the incidence of prostate cancer. It was an unexpected finding.
Also, a low fat diet is considered a good preventive measure, and it will also keep the cancer from being too malignant. Read the 10% solution by Kurzweil (of electronics fame).
