# Is there a way to rebuild your Programs menu?

Is there a way to rebuild your Programs menu?
When you install a program, there’s usually a new shortcut added.
I upgraded and lots of my old Programs links are dead, because there’s no Windows directory, just one called Winnt.
So is there a way to just ask for the whole list to be regeneraged?

1 Right click on the start button and click open.
2 Double click programs
3 hold down CTRL and left click on everything you want to delete, press the delete key, and voila, shortcuts gone.

Or just use Explorer and go to c:\windows\Start Menu
And c:\windows\Start Menu\Programs
