# Is there a way to subscribe to a thread without responding to it?

Well, is there? I’d like to subscribe to threads I find interesting, but can’t figure out a way to do it without also replying. Sometimes, I either don’t have anything to say yet (for instance, wanting to see how a Great Debate pans out before I jump in), or I don’t actually have a response (like in GQ, where I could post a joke reply or say something like “I’ve always wondered about that too” but all I would be doing is taking up space). It’s a lot easier to look at the list of subscribed threads than check the boards for the interesting threads, especially in a fast-moving forum like GQ. Is there something I’m missing?

(I tried searching for this, but couldn’t find a thread about it.)

Top right of the page: “Thread tools”. Choose “Subscribe to this thread”. Bada bing.
