# Is there an Eskimo tribe that doesn't poop all winter?

Me too! It was a bible camp in North Carolina back in 66. I gained 15 pounds over the week. Still had to piss though. Behind the outhouses.
I’ve worked up north in the cold for several years, a lot of it outside, and I do believe that you are likely to defecate less often and your stools are likely to be a lot firmer/drier than in a moderate temperature environment.

The one where I went was definitely evangelical but closer to Sandstone. The overwhelming problem was that outhouses are for pooping and pooping only, because urine turns into ammonia and you get that godawful eye-burning stink. But a lot of the city kids didn’t know this, and invariably they’d urinate right in the pit, every time, instead using a handy tree.
Wow… if going to summer camp and learning how not to poop for a week is part of the formative evangelical experience, we may have uncovered something that really explains a lot about the modern state of affairs.

Before this one goes off the rails, let’s confine ourselves to Eskimos.
If you find the need to discuss your toilet habits in camp, then start a new thread.
MPSIMS for those who just want to talk about it.
IMHO for those who want to feel like part of a group.
BBQ Pit for those who want to discuss politics and poop.
