To get here, which is the logical next question, you download mIRC or Ircle (for Mac). Or you can go to [http://www.undernet.org](http://www.undernet.org) and click on webchat. When you’re connected, type /join #straightdope in the text box and you will be in #straightdope.

Hmmm…what’s the betting that Bleeper, Catch a Painted Pony, Private Radio and whathisname@somethingorother are ahem…closely related? Seems curious that a whole bunch of unrelated people with very low postcounts suddenly decided to say the same thing. Wierd.
