# Is there any glue that will stay stuck to fingernails?

Whenever I have a split nail I try to seal the break so I won’t keep snagging it and reopening it. But things like “nail hardener” and even superglue seem to slough off after just a day or two.

Nail glue? They do make glue for split nails, it’s in the same area as the fake nails. Us it, set, then file it down.

Ah, yes, must be in one of those aisles I’ve never been down. Never would have occurred to me, but that might be the ticket.  
Glad for the hot glue warning. I had already considered and dismissed using a soldering iron. Might melt and fuse the nail, but probably hurt a very long time.
