This could just as difficult as the others. “Worst films ever” are typically things like “Plan 9 from Outer Space” or “The Room,” but even those have their fans. ---

I’ve told this story about _Battlefield: Earth_ before, but it bears repeating. I traveled for business and an associate in the remote office insisted that I stay at his house for the few days I was in town. The very first night, they wanted to show off their new surround sound system, which was, quite frankly, a fairly cheap and low-quality system. To showcase it, they chose _Battlefield: Earth_. That evening seemed interminable, but I gritted my teeth and thanked my hosts for the “experience.” Next evening, they said, “Hey, you liked it and we enjoyed it, so let’s watch it again tonight!” The next afternoon, I had packed up and was waiting for a ride to the airport…and they watched it AGAIN while I was waiting. I’ve never recovered. ---

I’ve read enough about _The Brown Bunny_. I walked out of _Turbulence_ and actually got my money back. I didn’t walk out of _The Avengers_ (the TV show film, not the MCU) and I should have. But after all that…_The Star Wars Holiday Special_ reigns as the absolute worst. ---

I watched part of the movie adaptation of _Atlas Shrugged_ once. Watching it was less horrifying than trying to read it, but I still don’t recommend it. ---

Strangely, no, they weren’t. But they had a good-for-nothing son who lived in their basement with his common-law wife. (No judgment here, just fact.) I think he was the one in the family with the lofty artistic tastes. ---

I had the misfortune to be in a job where during the breaktime the breakroom TV had on a sitcom called _Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps_, and so I saw a few episodes. I’m sure nobody outside the UK has even heard of it, but that was the biggest laugh-suck “comedy” I ever saw ---
