# Is there any trend in the number of Muscular Dystrophy cases?

Since we’ve known for quite a while that MD is in most cases genetically inherited, it would seem as though a lot of those with familial MD might not have children (or as many) knowing that they could pass it on.

However, I have not been able to find any info on whether the number of cases per capita has increased, decreased, or remained stable for the past 30-40 years.

Anyone???
