# Is there anyone alive today who knew Hitler

While an interesting tale, that she had no interactions puts her in the same category of thousands of regular still-living Germans who attended his speeches or some such.

FTR, my Aunt died 7 years ago, and met the Führer often.

Interesting. In what context did she meet him, if I may ask?

ETA: That may sound like an accusatory question. I don’t mean that at all. I’m just really curious.

One of Hitler’s final public acts was to decorate child soldiers from the Hitler Youth before the fall of Berlin. It was his last newsreel I believe.

Are any of these children in 1945 (who would be around 87-90 now) alive? Many might have died in the following battle.
