The only thing cuter than a sleeping kitty is two sleeping kitties. It’s a rare occasion in our house, so I just about melt into a puddle of squee if I happen to catch two balls of kitteh sleeping in [huddle formation](http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2096/2165089902_cc3f49f516.jpg). Most of the time, Ariel prefers to [sleep solo](http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3078/2806390389_97eb500e55.jpg) so as not to distract from her personal cuteness. ---

She passed on at the ripe old age of 22, about 3 years ago. The dark kitty is our current kitty, and she was also a rescue, but we got her from a rescue group. She was 5 years old when we adopted her about 2 1/2 years ago, so she’s a little over 7 now. Rescue kitties are absolutely the best! ---
