Does NAMBLA really exist as a serious organization? I thought it was just made up, either rhetorically or as some sort of performance. ---

But I think it’s a given that anything universally hated would not be hated by the people who actually do the hated things. Except telemarketers, perhaps. Speaking from experience, and in reference to a previous comment, some telemarketers do hate what they are doing, even those who only performed market surveys and weren’t selling anything and only needed the job because they were flat broke.
