Virginia trying to combat misinformation about Election Day

All I can find are blogs and message boards on this subject.  
The reason I am asking is someone is trying to argue that this is a real news report but won’t or can’t show any real information or links etc…

The OP is probably referring to notices that some Virginia residents have received, saying that due to large voter turnout, Republicans should vote Tuesday, and Democrats Wednesday. Hopefully no one’s falling for it.
