I couldn’t really figure out the new characters in S2. I’m going to watch the first ep more closely and see what I can pick up. S3 was better knowing that it was the final and had to end somehow. I liked the ending alot but getting there was a little difficult. Put me in the “loved the music” camp. ---

For anyone who may not already know, the creator of _The Leftovers_, Damon Lindelof, is in charge of HBO’s _Watchmen_ series, which is fantastic. While Watchmen is a very different story, the writing and the tone have a similar kind of vibe to _The Leftovers_.
