Ever feel like you have _something_ in a nostril up into the “bone” part (where your finger can’t reach)? Am I really asking this? Yes **sparky!** , you are. Anyway, I have been blowing and blowing this morning, to the point I’m surprised I haven’t busted a few capillaries in my face. I even tried a wet q-tip poking around up there. _Something_ is up there (I think)! A swim in the ocean would be nice right now. Mmmm… salt water. ---

Probably irritated and swollen tissue up there that’s making your nose feel completely blocked. (You can get air through there when you blow your nose, right?) Blowing it hard and forcing a q-tip up there is probably just making it worse. Might try an eyedropper with some salt water to help things constrict back to normal. Or a neti pot. But it’ll probably clear up on its own pretty quickly. IANAD. ---

It feels like there’s a stray hair up there (or I imagine that’s what it would feel like if a stray hair was up there). It’s actually super annoying now that I’ve been thinking about it. :mad: ---

It might be something along the lines of vasomotor rhinitis. I get a run of that a couple times a year. Feels like there’s something crawling around and itching up there, and rinsing with a neti doesn’t help. Benadryl helps make it tolerable. AFAIK, it’s harmless but annoying and should go away on its own in a couple of days. ---

I once knew a guy, who knew a guy, whose coworker’s sister’s kid stuck a whole bagel up his nose! With lox _and_ cream cheese! Maybe you’ve got that. ---

It could just be dryness from dry indoor heated air. Little vaseline on a q-tip. Swish around inside nostril. ---

Could be a nasal polyp. Normally they’re harmless but sometimes they turn into nose cancer and then you die. ---

Could be a snot clot! (I’m sure there’s an official medical term.) I get these a lot after sinus infections…mucus will build up and semi-solidify, until one day (often in the shower) it pops out. ---
