My experience with Comcast when I lived in Baltimore was horrible. When I moved to PA, I immediately looked for someone who wasn’t Comcast. I gladly took a company that I had never heard of because there was no way in hell that they could possibly be worse than Comcast. A few years later, Comcast bought them out, along with the only other non-Comcast cable provider in my area. So now I’m stuck with Comcast.
Their customer service seems to be set up specifically to be as miserable and difficult as possible. They will gladly fix a problem that is caused by them as long as you pay for the service call like it’s your fault. Getting them to fix something that was their fault literally took YEARS on my end.
And, on top of everything else, they are way overpriced for what they give you.
If I had another choice, I would have dropped Comcast like a hot rock many, many years ago.
While all of the major telecom companies suck to some degree, I find it very difficult to believe that any of them could possibly be worse than Comcast. If you have any other choice, take it.
