Well, if pitting someone means ranting about them, then reverse would either be making nice comments about them, or maybe saying how much better they are than you?
After first watching the original Japanese version of **The Ring** (called **Ringu** ) and then watching the American, I wanted to find a way to apologize to the Japanese for us taking a great movie of theirs and totally butchering it. I wonder if that would be a type of reverse pitting?
