I suppose so. Still, I think that once an object passes the event horizon, even though it may still technically be in the universe, I don’t think the rest of us are really obliged to acknowledge it as such anymore. After all, you don’t usually hear the interior of the septic tank referred to as a room of the house, even if it is topologically continuous with the bathroom.
