The lateste deal (from a Chinese auto company) was for the firm to invest $221 million in Saab.
The deal fell through-and the Trolhatten plant has been closed (Saab hasn’t paid suppliers for weeks).
Time to put Saab out of their misery?

If you can’t figure out where to put the ignition key, you’re not cool enough to own one.

Whenever I borrow someone else’s car I always find myself instinctively jabbing the ignition key down between the seats! Supposedly Saab decided to put the ignition there because their research indicated that a lot of people were injured in crashes by the conventional ignition system.

What kind of an impact will the permanent closure of Saab have on parts availability in the next 10 years?
