I’d honestly suspect the court will be content with your efforts, most likely a date range of 4 to 6 years ago is probably sufficient for what they’re doing.

I’m gonna be the pedantic nooge and state that if you had all of your records in order (and accessible) then the onerousness of complying with this court request would have been much more minor, and consequently less likely to have sent you over the edge, yah?
I have to agree with this, I have been a business manager in the past and because I took the time to keep my records in order, I could have completed the paperwork while on hold to a vendor.
Taking care of one’s employees seems to be the sign of a good employer, helping a child receive the financial resources they are entitled to is a sign of a good human. IMO.
Guys the man is 63 years old, let’s not expect too many major lifestyle changes

No offense, but you do not know things about the situation that might change your mind. I’ll say no more, as it is a legal matter I want nothing to do with. I’ll remain an employer who could do a better record job keeping records, beyond that, no.
UPDATE
The courts move slowly. I was worried about the court finding my paperwork lacking, but I now know my stuff was totally fine. Turns out both the petitioner and respondent lied in their various filings. My employee lied about her wages. The respondent lied about how much he’d already paid in support, but it turns out he has evidence that the child isn’t his (although he may have obtained this info illegally?), and that the petitioner was aware of this all along.
Their lives sound like a total shitstorm, but my paperwork was A-OK!
And with that, you can no doubt sleep better at night.

I live in rural western Pennsylvania. They’re par for the course around here. My brother visited us from Michigan recently and was shocked by all the TRUMP 2024 and FUCK BIDEN signs that decorate our roadways.
