# Is this "just" emergence, or is there more to this?

Have you read Olaf Stapledon? Particularly Starmaker? That seems to be kind fo along the lines you’re reaching for.

Either you have a question or you don’t. If you don’t have a question, you shouldn’t be posting in GQ. If you do, you need to formulate much more clearly. And if you are looking for ideas for an SF book, that’s certainly fine, but then don’t try to pose it as an actual rigorous scientific query.
