# Is this justice or a travesty of justice?  DUI vs. jaywalking charge.

Or more a better comparison might be this one…

When rich white people inadvertently kill their kids they have laws named after them rather than being taken to court on vehicular homicide charges.

She **was** jaywalking, and she isn’t the first person in that area to face similar charges from a child being killed while jaywalking.
