**tumbledown** , allow me to further explain the rule: “You’re unreasonable” is unacceptable because it ascribes undesirable attributes to the specific poster. However, “You are posting like a homicidal child molester suffering the mental decay of the third stage syphilis he got from a Taiwanese transvestite prostitute” is completely acceptable because it refers to what the person has posted and not the person himself. You got it now? It makes perfect sense. ---
