# Is this site legitimate?

This site is supposed to let you know if your computer is infected by the conficker worm:

I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t trust anything.

Anyone heard anything about this site?

I don’t know whether the test is accurate or not, but the source code for the page is benign.

Well it works on the basis that conficker blocks the security sites on the top row. It seems to be reasonably well documented that conficker blocks these sites. Also what could they gain by misleading you either way?

I went to ZDNet, which is a well-known and trusted site, and got a conficker removal tool endorsed by them. Ran the tool and it said “conficker not found”.

Recommend you do the same.
