Au contraire, it has everything to do with it. If homo’s had some skin on them, there wouldn’t even be such a post about something being homophobic or not :smack:. Besides, I think I brought the question into better light, and placed it in a more appropriate context, wouldn’t you agree? 
Yeah, I read your study, and others like them before, most don’t concur with those findings exactly, out of bias. Now, I ask you to read this article, I know that you won’t understand, being ignorant and all, but you’ll at least get the idea that most if not all studies are false (there has even been a study on that ;)). Just don’t let the fancy words send your tiny brain into a conundrum, wrap it in an enigma, and send your mind into a vortex of perplexity.

Think for a second about what you are saying, and it will dawn on you that this long-standing tradition of shame associated with heterosexual sex falls almost entirely on women. Men rarely pay any social price for sexual exploits, even in extremely sexually repressed environments. Hardly the same as the enculturated reaction to gay sex as gross because the two participants are of the same sex.

I feel it necessary to state that I am not a homophobe, I’m not ‘afraid’ of anything, actually, especially not a challenge. If you consider being disgusted by male genetalia (even my own), homophobic, then maybe I am. My posts have been directed at something else though, mainly the need to get people to lighten up, un-bunch their panties, and take a few punches with a laugh. Homosexuals do themselves a disservice every time they get offended at something, my respect level goes down immensely at the very least. Lesbians seem to be far superior to gay men in every way, or at least from my observation, they don’t get all riled up over some off-handed remark. Homosesexuals have been around for millenia, but all of the sudden they’re so happy about being accepted (I understand it’s because of recent persecution). However, before recent times, males who had intercourse with other males did not mean they were gay (the word wasn’t even used), they still enjoyed sex with either gender often times (as they still do). Lesbians still like male genetals, they just use plastic ones now, and throughout history until only recently (when I say recently, I mean in the last few hundred centuries), women who liked other women were actually condsidered normal, especially durring polygamy where a man had multiple wives, he couldn’t have possibly satiated them all, so most likely they’d ‘enjoy’ each others company. In fact, only male homosexuality has ever been frowned upon really, mainly due to the genetals actually penetrating, which, FYI, is the only thing the Scriptures (Bible) has condemned, it defines it as sodomy basically, we get the word sodomy from Sodom and Gomorrah actually. The reason why it was destroyed is because of the men who were fornicating with each other, they even tried to make Lot have sex with them, and even after offering his daughters to them, they were still adamant about forcing him to.

Good call, uuaschbaer, but recognize that when I do troll on a thread, my intention is to get people to think for themselves a little, instead of just having others tell them what’s what, in other words, check to see if there is a ‘man behind the curtain’ so to speak, the color of the horse can always change quickly.

According to your twisted logic I must be anti-vegan and that would be ridiculous.
It just means I could never be a vegan.

I could never personally euthanize an animal, yet have no qualms about veterinarians who do so daily.
I hate sushi, the thought of it makes me sick, yet you’d say I’m against or I’d be prejudiced against those who eat it.

The analogy doesn’t hold up. You’re equating homosexuality to the vegans but it’s not, it’s the act of eating vegetables you should equate it to. One is not homophobic of homosexuals, one is homophobic of homosexuality, IMO. So in your analogy, you are anti-vegetable-eating and that’s analogous to homophobic.
That analogy makes even less sense. You have a prejudice against killing, but don’t mind others doing it? Then you’re still a thanophobe.

I calls it like I sees it. Anyone who’s disgusted by the thought of perfectly natural acts has a problem - that may be homophobia, misogyny, misandry, general neuroses, depends. But equating any (normal - not coprophagia or necrophilia, just vanilla sex) sexual act with the same level of disgust as, say, eating rotten food, indicates a problem. Even if it’s just thinking about doing it yourself.
Equating female genitals with “that’s where you pee from” is juvenile at best, neurotic in the extreme, and misogynistic in effect.
Having corresponded with Bosstrain, I am rescinding the infraction, on condition that he both read the rules for this message board as set forth in the stickies in the ATMB forum, and label his “devil’s advocate” posts as such beforehand.
Mr Dibble, I do not understand your logic. I have no problem with homosexuals having sex. I don’t feel like gagging thinking about them engaging in any act whatsoever. I have a problem being told that I should have no reaction if I am made to do something contrary to my nature, or that all acts should be natural to all.
Ask a gay person if they are uncomfortable with the thought of having sex with someone of a different gender. (Many have said this). They are not heterophobes.
This is definitely a case of different definitions of homophobia - and I do not think yours is the commonly accepted one.
