Making fun of their English is a chance to have a pretty harmless laugh. That said, trying to sway emotion with anything where Robert Fisk is a source is hideously biased. I am the first to admit I am under-informed and torn on issue of foreign policy. Lewt me ask you—do you think Iraq was better off under Saddam Hussein than it is now? If not, what would your solution have been, short of war? And as an Arabic Muslim, do you believe in freedom of and from religion for those who wish it? ---

Even so. Without being able to read the accompanying commentary, these photos are devoid of context. Hell, the people could be Afghanis mutilated at the hands of the Russians for all I can tell. Or Palestinians caught in an Israeli army raid. Or they could be what they’re purported to be. There’s simply no way of knowing. ---
