# Is today's Google Doodle based on a real juice label?

The Google logo today resembles a retro fruit-juice label, to commemorate Albert Szent-Györgyi, who isolated Vitamin C. [Story here](http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2011/09/albert_szent-gyorgyi_google_doodle_oranges_vitamin_c.html).

Is the logo based on a real fruit-juice logo? It looks kind of familiar but I can’t identify it.

Juice label? No, I don’t think so. But it is styled very much like the fruit box labels that growers used at one time.
