**Lumpy** will almost certainly not be replying to you. He posted that he was withdrawing from this thread. I then posted that he was unwilling or unable to defend his arguments or provide cites for his claims. This was a mistake. If he had any convincing arguments or cites, he would have presented them by now. We can only conclude that he is unable to defend his arguments or back up his claims with cites. ---

It’s worth remembering that “icky, sex!” is more pronounced in some cultures than others. If you’re living in a culture that was colonized by Europeans, especially European Protestants, you’re likelier to have an “Ick, SEX!” reaction than folks living in cultures that weren’t thus colonized. Broad brush strokes here, with plenty of exceptions, but as a trend, I believe it’s accurate. “Ick, sex!” isn’t a reaction that the peasants dreamt up, either.
