Wow. So I was looking at this Haitian immigrant topic. That’s right, the source of this rumor is from a parody site. I am trying to find out more about this Instagram channel, and their motivations for the story. Along comes that previously mentioned Facebook post about “a neighbor’s daughter’s cat going missing”. Story gets to JD Vance, but also likely to Lara Looper, who probably is the one who told Trump. So much to unpack here, but that’s what I’ve uncovered. ---

I volunteered today at a voter registration event at a community center. One of the other volunteers is a retired nurse from a psychiatric hospital. I asked her for her official opinion of what’s wrong with Trump and she said, “he’s fucking nuts.” ---

He’s quite liberal, but unsurprisingly a lot of his peers tend to be Republicans. The psychologists in his circle all remote diagnosis Trump as descending into dementia/Alzheimer’s. ---
