I really hope this weird episode gets some major traction in the news and social media sphere. I read this thread and the majority of the clips posted are just Trump mis-speaking or rambling, most of which are nothingburgers. But this was truly bizarre behavior. Did you see the rictus grin of fear on Noem’s face when he said he just wanted to play music instead of taking questions? Or when he starts swinging his hands to the music and she starts copying him, only to stop after he does seconds later? She had no idea what the fuck to do. I really wish someone captured a hot mic of her after she walked offstage. WaPo had a photo of his teleprompter from the event where his handlers were trying to get him back on track - they actually typed in there “Please do two more questions before music.” Holy crap. ---

Latest Truth: I had a Town Hall in Pennsylvania last night. It was amazing! The Q and A was almost finished when people began fainting from the excitement and heat. We started playing music while we waited, and just kept it going. So different, but it ended up being a GREAT EVENING! Someone, maybe Trump himself, might realize something is wrong. It would explain why he cancelled another interview. The most difficult part with Trump is that he’s always been an unhinged jackass, so his decline wasn’t as easy to notice as it would be with a hinged normal person. ---

I’ve given lots of people dementia screening and basic tests to assess cognition. However, not even sure how to test “cognitive stamina and agility”. 1. Can you rant and rave for periods exceeding three hours? 2. Picture a guy doing a somersault. Now on a trapeze. Now running a race. Does he look happy?
