One of the things that most impresses me about this Trump/Arnold Palmer story is the resonant realization that Trump _is_ what Palmer allegedly _had._ ---

The general political affiliation of Vancouver, WA is a red herring. Nimbyism is not a partisan problem, and if anything, taking forever to get any sort of infrastructure work done is baked into Democratic party politics in WA to the point that it’s got its own Wikipedia entry. > **[Seattle process](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seattle_process)** > > The Seattle process or Seattle way is a term stemming from the political procedure in Seattle and King County, and to a lesser extent other cities and the Washington state government.
