So you can expect Putin to attack NATO or at least the West somehow in response. Or for Belarus or somebody to open yet another front against the side I hope to be President of. That would be bad (for me) because I exist only to serve my Lord Putin. And that’s harder to do when there’s lots of headlines that as US President I’m not fighting the USA’s enemy very hard. Seems extremely obvious to me; I really wonder about all you folks who often can’t understand what trump means most of the time. ---

I listen to NPR when I’m in the car, and I have to drive to court regularly as part of my job. Today I heard NPR giving a midday news report. It included political news, naturally. They referenced the DNC, and played a snippet of Walz’s speech. There is an F-22. Sorta similar sounding number. If you can’t read, keeping details straight is hard, since the only way to reinforce them in your memory is to talk w somebody knowledgeable. Not one of idjit trump’s habits. ---

Gotta keep sucking up to Putin. The ‘something bad happens’ probably refers to nukes. But Trump doesn’t understand why he shouldn’t use them. ---

Yeah, I was playing up the vaguery of what he was saying. It is so vague, perhaps deliberately so, but it leads to gibberish. I mean, Russia _already_ invaded Ukraine, and still had troops there. Sending in more soldiers doesn’t strike me as an incursion. That’s reinforcement, not a new entry. But if e go with the idea that “the other way” means Putin will respond with more troops to Ukraine, then saying bad things so happen is kinda dumb - bad things have _already_ happened. So maybe he’s suggesting Putin will invade Poland or some other NATO country. Then yeah, no shit bad things will happen. Ah, but maybe he’s trying to suggest Putin would use nukes. That’s just about as sure a way there is to ensure (a) Putin loses power, when the world is blown back to preondustrial age; or (b) Putin dies, because he will most certainly be a target of heavy bombardment. And if he survives all that, there are likely to be some seriously pissed off Russians who want a word with him. Or maybe he has a different idea. Imcursion the other way could mean “the US will incur on Ukraine once I’m president.” Any way you slice it , it comes up nuts. ---
