Hurricane Matthew, which is treated as a “mundane storm”, and less important than Trump’s idiotic comments, killed at least [33 Americans](https://weather.com/news/news/hurricane-matthew-southeast-updates) **in one weekend**. There is still severe flooding in North Carolina, and this number could rise. By my count, ISIS has killed 33 Americans since 2014, and seems to be a favorite topic of many politicians. Why do the least important stories get the most coverage? ---
