WAG: a new version of Yahoo Messenger was released yesterday. The little Yahoo servers that could are very, very busy just now.

Not to impugn your credibility or reliability, Wooster- you certainly are a man to be counted upon when the chips, as they say, are down-however, I would have much more confidence in such a statement if it came from the redoubtable Jeeves.
