# Is "you have no understanding" okay out of the Pit?

No, no, I meant Steve Justice, Medieval Literature scholar. Though to be fair, he’s not really blind, just a bit nearsighted.

But language offers infinite possibilities. You could cite everything every posted and ask for a ruling on each word and each phrase. What’s the point of narrowly rendering a specific opinion on a specific phrase except to then compare it to another phrase and ask for another opinion…and that way lies madness, doesn’t it?
