Is your birthday in November?

Being born in the end of November as I was, I always think of March, of course.

You could have been late. More likely, your birth parents didn’t celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Aha. Yeah, in a country where they are currently, in 2010, protesting Valentine’s Day. Not likely.

I could have also been born early, which is most likely - malnourishment and no prenatal care was a big factor. I wasn’t born in a hospital, so no one remembers my weight or anything like that.

The funny thing is, my parents ‘dated’ - my father was married elsewhere so I don’t know that you can call it that - for abotu four years before they caught pregnant. I know that in India in the 70s it was very hard to find a place to be alone, so I’m sure it wasn’t often that they had sex, but you would still think it would have caught before that. Guess the movies that say it happens the first time without fail are wrong.

No, its a Friday which makes is fun. Last year it was on Thanksgiving. Really? I’ve never gotten a pumpkin substitution for cake! How old you?

No, but if you count the 14 of us, my wife and me, 3 children, 3 spouses thereof, 6 grandchildren, now fewer that 5 have or have had their birthdays this month. That’s pretty unlikely.

4 out of 14 for us, aged from 3 to almost 53.

My brother was a little bothered that he turned 50 and became a grandfather in the same month.

Old enough to read a calendar properly. :smack: Still, Friday night’s not too shabby…

I’m 35. And yes, there was a time or two (or three) where my family either forgot or didn’t bother to make/get a cake on my birthday because it got lumped in with Thanksgiving celebrations. Add, just to add injury to insult, I’ve always hated pumpkin pie so much it makes my stomach hurt. No, I’m not really bitter about it, but it makes good thread fodder and teasing them is fun, so I keep up the act.

Sagittarius, represent!

Mine is Saturday this year (the 27th) - awesome! I’ve never had the Thanksgiving Day problems that some of you around my birth date have since I’m Canadian, but I often have my birthday on Grey Cup Sunday (which sucks, since I don’t care in the slightest about football).

We haven’t seen Shirley Ujest and Sampiro yet - I think they share my birthday.

I don’t see no_one special either, who shares my birthday.

The February before I was born, the east coast had a major blizzard which shut things down for a week. You should I seen my face when I worked that out…

:eek::o

Sagittarii(two i’s, so it’s “Saj-i-tar-ee-eye”), if you’re the kind of person who uses octopodes.

*Sagittariuses *if you’re the kind of person who uses octopuses.

How many have found that your birthday falls under two different astrological signs depending on which astrological chart your look at?

That happens if you were born on the 22nd, like I was.

Did you just turn 32?

My b-day is Nov. 20th. Go Scorpios!!

I voted for the 13th, because that’s when people make me celebrate it. However, I was born in California, at 20 minutes to midnight, which is two to three time zones away from where I live, so I always wonder if it should really be celebrated on the 14th.

So far I am still the only 18th, a date I get to share with the Jonestown Massacre. I speculate I was conceived during a vacation to the west coast of Mexico.

But, hey, 63 yo today. Yay me!

Happy Birthday!

How did you know?

Everyone in New England talks about the Blizzard of 78. It didn’t really affect us in western New York, but I figured that maybe it reached as far south as NoVa.

No, wait, Scorpios are psychic.

My birthday’s not in November, so I didn’t vote, but I gave birth on Nov. 1, once. The town where I was living had set hours for Trick or Treating - from 8 to 10 PM. At 10 PM exactly, I went into labor. Trick or Treat.

I’ve never lived in another town that had a curfew for T or T, but it seems like a good idea to me.
