In any case, the biggest advantage of having a Democratic President is that we have a unified country when we go to war. ---

Anytime you are trying to move forward you sometimes end up in a dark alley. Sometimes you push through that dark alley to get to light, but sometimes it’s better to just go back and try a different path. We can disagree on whether 20th century progressivism was a positive thing, but one thing I’d hope we all agree on is that we’re not getting rid of the Enlightenment or the Renaissance. ---

Returning directly to the thread topic, did the ISIS goons goof with Foley’s execution by standing out in the open for the deed? Considering the rather distinctive color of the solid orange jumpsuit, right next to the solid black wannabe ninja outfit, and all the satellites that must be pointed in that general direction in broad daylight, shouldn’t it be fairly simple to do an automated search through the satellite data to try to locate that site? ---

Not sure what the point is here. 99% of America opposed Communism. THe fact that some overreacted is unfortunate, but normal. There isn’t an enemy in the world we haven’t overreacted to at some point.
