The culture of modern Greece has less in common than the culture of modern France than it does with the culture of modern Turkey. Is Turkey western or Eastern?

Dog-face, chill. You take offense and give it to easily. I am asking questions here and pointing to places where catholic with a lowercase c might be used to mean all churches up to the reformation. As people have noted, this is not how they’ve heard it used and that is not how I will use the term in the future, although I believe the origin of the word and its use in some situations did apply as I mentioned.
