Well, the Trump administration certainly appears to have declared war on Muslims (metaphorically speaking). It sounds like an incoherent version of a common right wing idea; that Muslims already hate us as much as it’s possible to hate, with no reason beyond being Muslim for that hate; so nothing we do can make it worse. Therefore, we might as well do anything we please to them. Also, I’m amused at the idea that the “civilized” world could kill over a billion people and still count as civilized. ---

America could barely sustain serious military campaigns in two countries and Europe can’t even bomb third-rate powers without leaning on America for help with refueling and buying extra bombs. The West is welcome to try, though. ---
