# Israel 60 years: A very improper celebration indeed

Huh, I read over this page again and by gum, there _is_ a statement of Hamas that expresses a desire for peaceful coexistence, as cited by FinnAgain in #216, from Article 6 of the Hamas charter:

So once Greater Palestine is an officially Islamic state, everybody of all faiths will be safe and secure, right? Article 20, though, isn’t quite so magnanimous:

I wouldn’t expect a lot of forgiveness of and reconciliation with Jews in an officially-Muslim Greater Palestine, if this is how Hamas views them.

Anyway, the GD thread has slipped to the bottom half of the first page, and is likely to soon vanish into oblivion. Was this not a good time such a thread to be composed? Does it need to wait some more, for a vague future someday, or will Sevastapol contribute some well-cited facts to it?
