# Israel approves gay marriage, affirms married status of 5 Toronto-wed couples

Nobody pays attention to [my threads](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=397188) , huh? ☹

But I scooped ya! 😛

And just to add a bit of content to the mix, it may be worth noting that “Rabbi” (and I use the term loosely) Levin shot his mouth off **after** the court decision (and no doubt largely as a reaction to it)
