# Israeli satellite guided ordnance

Perhaps it would be helpful if you specified which model in particular you are talking about? I am unaware of any sales of JDAM or JSOW to Israel, although the JDAM is not a particularly high tech piece of machinery.

I don’t have a clue. CNN and other media report they are using “LASER and satellite guided bombs”. That may be an error in reporting.

Of the possible GPS system the Israeli’s could use, [Glonass](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GLONASS) is in bad shape, and [Galileo](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galileo_positioning_system) is in the future, which leaves the US system as the only game in town. Unless of course the Israelis launched themselves a secret mini-gps that’s also compatible with the JDAM hardware. 😉
