Roxy has been returned to her “tree house” as she calls their house. She was NOT happy when I pulled into the neighborhood, but her mama parked just minutes after we did, and I gave Roxy my key to open the front door - that stopped the tears. I dropped off a package to be mailed and took the old modem to the UPS store to be returned. Then I ran into Aldi for a few things, including a nice big rack of ribs - they’ll be cooked tomorrow because I’ve had a hankerin’. Tonight, we’re having chickie tits, probably baked, and rice and some sort of vegetable matter. And I made the executive decision to NOT panic over the remaining paint downstairs. I have a roll of plastic sheet that I can put down on the new flooring and I’ll just finish the ceiling a bit at a time. Ergo, I am now serene. 😌 It’ll get done without me killing myself. And so it goes. ---

Beer. I need beer. The pest control guy came Friday for his quarterly spraying, so today the house is over-run with ants. Lots of pet-friendly spray later and I think I have them under control, but the house reeks of the plant oils. So I am going to kick on the A/C even though it isn’t hot enough to warrant it just to get the stench out. Last Monday classes for all of my seniors, since next Monday is a holiday. They weren’t that stoked. If they had been physically at school all year they would be. Oh, well. While they were getting their last assignments done I managed to get the side strips weed-whacked and some random pepper seeds planted. Tango spent the entire time I was outside staring out the windows as I fought the noisy monster, running from room to room so he could keep me in sight. Such a good boy! Now that that is done, it’s off to pick up a buddy and on to [Escape Brewery](https://escapecraftbrewery.com/beers/). They _still_ haven’t gotten their full selection back on-line after the Grand Opening of the new location almost a month ago. Too popular. Good for them, and luckily my favorite **is** back on-line. And, as is becoming traditional for me, I didn’t stumble on the new Monday **mmp** post til late afternoon. When will I learn? Ok, now tapped as ‘watching’ so you guys will be the first thing I see in the morning. Well, the first thing after the scramble to the bathroom and then stumbling out to the Keurig in the kitchen for my cupojava ☕. I probably should put a sticky note on the Keurig: “go check for the new Monday **MMP** you ditz!!” Might as well put another sticky note on the front door by my car keys “did you remember your hearing aids?” instead of having to find the sticky notes twice. ---

Very cute~my fingers want to rub the offered up belly. The paw covered nose is especially cute. And such pretty eyes ! On the cat. Your dad’s eyes are ok too, but I don’t need to rub his belly. ---

IIRC, you really didn’t need to loose any weight. Irked and not as late as I feared we would have to. They deleted a bunch of reconciliations that they were going to adjust on another offset account, so we’re seeing the bottom of the queue at this point, and, lord willing and nothing goes FUBAR, we may even get out of there after lunch Friday! We got our replacement cycle counter who popped in today to say hi and will start tomorrow. He worked in our department before, but left for a better job. He got laid off, so he came back. He’s smart and careful and counters like him and our other day time one actually make my job easier. It was 91F when I got off irk this afternoon. I went straight from quilt-on-the-bed and winter jammies to summer bedspread, ceiling fan on and summer jammies in the space of a week. Oy! Stay safe and healthy y’all! ---

I wanted to make a pepperoni pizza on zero net carb crust tonight, but I ended up making a pepperoni pizza on Trader Joe’s pizza dough crust instead. Seems the price went up. I think it was $2.29, which is a dollar more than I remember. I could be wrong, though. Still a lot cheaper than the ZNG crust at $7.99. Tonka got a little piece of cheese from my slice. ---

Howdy Y’all! Da cave got spiffed, nappage occurred, and we went to men’s night over to the church house. We had a good crowd tonight and much fun was had by all.
