Glad to hear that the grey clouds have gone. **Drae** , does Zoloft give you weird dreams? No one wants to see me without my meds. The last time that I decided that I’d be better off without, I started feeling like throwing myself down staircases was a good idea. Although, my poor choice of environment at the time probably didn’t help either. I’m home from school and exhausted, but in a good way. Now that I’m getting the hang of things I’m enjoying most of my days. It’s sort of like the daily social experiment. If I say this to the kids today what will happen. Then, if it works I stick with it and if not, I try something else tomorrow. It’s definitely been a challenge though because not only do they have me as a new teacher, about six weeks ago another one of their teachers was replaced by someone else. For the most part their settling down now. I just had to call a parent for the first time and that was intimidating but I did ok. My mom just came in here a few minutes ago and told me that my grandma no longer remembers how to pray. Normally they take turns praying before meals but she’s been making my grandpa do it all the time lately. He told her that it was her turn today and she just sat there and then she said she didn’t know what she was supposed to be doing. If you’d ever known my grandma, you’d realize what a truly sad thing this is. Her belief in God was the sole foundation of her life. ☹ ---

House hunting sucked I’m still torn between two. Saw a new one today and the outside is beautiful, new siding, new roof, new windows, nice yard, nice neighborhood. Then we walked inside. Ugly would be too kind a word. It would probably take $50,000 just to fix the stuff that needs fixing. The walls were old paneling with chunks missing and the plaster walls behind were a mess. The carpet would have to be tossed out. They must have had a dog that laid by the windows and chewed on the sills. It had that weird combo of a full bath downstairs and a half bath upstairs. There were two kinds of kitchen cabinets, half were probably the original from 100 years ago and the other half might have been new 50 years ago. The dishwasher looked new. Half the kitchen counter tops were linoleum? with the chrome trim around the edges, the other half were new. The front door was pretty, and the cap on the bannister leading upstairs was carved like a pineapple. Anyway have to finish my makeup and get out of here. Now I can’t find my car keys. ---

And, in other news. I’m aching from my karate lesson. I’m back with the dojo and trying to get back in shape. It’s easier now that I got the growth taken off the ball of my left foot. It felt like I was walking around with a rock in my shoe. And walking the dog is easier, although my Nathan prefers the bark park, where he can socialize with other dogs. I want to have a hamburger so badly! But I gave up meat for Lent, as that’s harder for me than chocolate or sweets. I’m a carnivore at heart, or maybe omnivore would be a better term. I just know I couldn’t be a permanent vegetarian without a super serious reason. ---

I’m home and I had a good time as well. Got lost coming and going, damn circles. I am sleepy but I need to unwind from driving home. The music was good, the drink was strong, the food was good and everybody is nice. I saw **Capt** outside when I got there and I knew it was him and got a great big hug. All in all I had a great time. ---

Great pic! Glad to hear you all had a good time too. I’m with **Rosie** on the beard too, **Capt.**! Nice to put faces with the names. 🙂 It’s greening up nicely in NM, Spring is definitely here. Good morning! Wow, you all look like a friendly, happy bunch in that pic! I’m glad you all had a good time! Not much is going on with me this morning. I’ve had a rather large cup of coffee, and I’m contemplating scooping litterboxes, and getting a load of laundry going. I may need more coffee before I can complete those things, though. I’m still trying to talk myself into doing it, honestly. Yesterday, the visit with my aunt was a nice one! My daughter, my aunt, and I, absolutely stuffed ourselves on Bagna Cauda, and fresh Italian bread. Good times were had by all. My husband is scheduled to be getting home this evening, after being OTR for the past three weeks. He’ll have to head out again on Monday morning, but that’s how it goes. It’ll be great having him home for awhile, though. Today is supposed to be a warm day, and then it all goes downhill. It’s going to be right around 65 degrees, and the warmer weather is teasing me! I’m itchin’ to get my garden started, and get some flowers planted, but that’s not going to happen for at least another month. I just wish it would warm up, and stay warm. This crap of getting warm, then getting cold, is grating my last, raw nerve. We’re supposed to have a chance for snow next week. Enough, already! Have a good Firday, everyone.
