Howdy Mumpers Had the NYC Times Square experience last night, yep got propositioned by a hooker. I declined but was entertained. **Apes** , so sorry for your loss **Spidey** , tis good that we are meeting tonight, we have some planning to do. At least we can scheme without a certain Ursine listening in. I love NYC but am glad to be leaving, I have spent a metric shitton of $$$$. I swear this place just sucks money out of your wallet. Gaaaaah. I just had a call from a realtor who wants to show the house. But they want to show it _right the hell now_, and I can’t get home to get the dog and make sure I didn’t leave dishes in the sink and a bra hanging off something before they run out of time. They’re going to call me back to set something up for Friday, but I’m annoyed that somebody finally showed interest and I had to say no. I asked them to wait 45 minutes, but apparently that was no good for them. Dammit. It’s even worse because I have absolutely nothing at all to do at work right now and could totally leave, but they can’t wait. ---

\*\*Drae \*\*- can you have a note put on the listing saying you need an hour’s notice on work days because of the dog?? I would think such a thing would be common. The house smells brownie-rrriffic!!! Supper will be mac-n-cheese and some sort of veggie matter. I’m opting for easy today. 😃 ---

That note should actually already be there–one hour is kind of a requirement, even if we’re home, because we’re the kind of people who forget to make beds and put things away. 🙂 But the realtor knew it was very short notice and was hoping I was home. Alas, 'twas not meant to be today. But at least I know SOMEBODY besides me has looked at the listing. 😉 ---

One day I was in the shower and I thought I heard something downstairs. I stick my head out of the shower and listen, nothing. I get out of the shower, step out of the bathroom in nothing but a towel and SURPRISE!!! Three total strangers standing at the bottom of the stairs. I don’t know why your people couldn’t wait. I had to wait Saturday to get into one of the houses so we drove around to check out the neighborhood and went and got some lunch. I had to wait 2 hours so 45 minutes would have been nothing for a house I really wanted to see. I’m going back out tomorrow to look at one of them and if it’s like I remember I’m putting in an offer. ---

My mother called me to ask me how everything was going and I said fine, well not really but fine. I mean if you overlook getting woken up too early and the HFH didn’t flush the toilet _again_, and there’s not a single damn place to sit in the living room, every piece of furniture is covered in boxes, and well, let’s be truthful, both of them are still breathing, so no not fine. So the she says to me, I just want you to know if you go to jail I’m not bailing you out. I guess the edge is showing. ---

I’m having some decaf tea - I want to sleep tonight, but I also want to warm up. We’re something like 15° below normal, and I am NOT amused! But I will be wearing socks when I go to bed tonight. And since neither of us really wanted to eat, I didn’t make anything. Maybe I’ll have a yogurt later. Oh, but the brownies are yum! ---
