The only logical conclusion is the gods are angry at Mexico and must be appeased. Virgins need to be sacrificed! ---

There seems to be an acute scarcity of virgins these days. Or possibly a scarcity of cute virgins. ---

Sounds like it wasn’t too bad as far as damage/casualties. Not like the 1985 quake: _Sept. 19, 1985 - MEXICO - 9,500 killed and 40,000 people injured. 8.1 on the Richter scale._ ---

5.6 isn’t actually a very big earthquake at all. It’s only getting very much attention because Mexico is already looking like Disaster Central. I’m kind of meh on this. ---

Who’s going to want to go help with all the murders the drug cartels are doing daily. The officials that maintain order are all dead or they left.
