I was living in Berlin - will never forget how the day started off great when I turned on the radio to hear the DJ say “we will be playing John Lennon songs all day” and I was thrilled, until a bit later when I found out why they were playing John Lennon songs all day. A very sad day. ---

A terrible day. Taken from us way too soon. Although I would much rather focus on his birthday, October 9, myself. But on any day, it’s appropriate to appreciate his genius and reflect on his message of peace and tolerance. ---

Wish I could’ve been born earlier, so I could have begun to appreciate him while he was still with us. But at least his music lives on. ---

It’s the only celebrity death that had any kind of an effect on me. I blamed the USA and gun laws for about 5 minutes, until I realized it was just the act of one crazy individual. There are places I’ll remember All my life, though some have changed ---

What an incomparable loss. He would have been 71 now.
