I just watched the series premiere of _Lost_ again, and when I saw the scene where they’re hauling somebody who’s just got his leg _amputated_ out of the wreckage, bloody stump and all, I think there’s something seriously wrong with this country that they can show that, but to show a woman’s breast gets somebody seriously fined… Torture, mutilation and death are all fine, but to show actual body parts, which half of us _have_, is fineable? Blah. Another reason not to watch the Superbowl. ---

I’ve think I’ve figured out how CBS can get themselves out of the document problem. Dan Rather must drop his pants on camera. The righteous outrage will overwhelm all other news. ---

I think chaining himself naked to a lightpost in a hurricane would be more his style. ---

The FCC should only moderate interference with communications, they should have no business playing Mom and Dad. Leave that to… um… Mom and Dad. Sure, the FCC can go after CBS because somehow it’s CBS’s fault that they aired the imfamous boob, but clearly the code/law is faulty. ---
