# Italics button not working

Whenever I hit the Italics button on the post editor, it takes me to this page:  
[http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/I](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/I)

Bold and underline are doing the same (though to a B and U respectively).

Huh. Maybe it’s just me then. I have been having other strange browser issues. Oh, wait! I just had a thought.

Yeah, that’s _it_. I installed NoScript but hadn’t set the **Straight Dope** as an allowed site.

Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.

I scarcely notice that there are any italics buttons. I have a QuicKeys macro that inserts start-italics code when I hit control-i and end-italics code when I hit control-option-i and so forth. Have had it in since long before vBulletin provided quote buttons and italics buttons and so on.

However, _clicks button and types_ and clicks button again.

Yep works for me.
