When I exercise, or get embarrassed, my upper torso begins itching like mad. It’s a pain in the ass and I have no idea why this is. Is there any way to prevent this?

Could be a fairly common skin disorder called tinea versicolor

My head iches when I work out. I think it’s because of sweat-which could also play into the embarrasment angle.

The exact same thing happens to me when I exercise or get embarrassed, and I always assumed it was just the sweat.

Prickley Heat. Its kinda like your pores are erupting with sweat. Try putting on some lotion before you exercise or some baby powder. Be sure to hydrate yourself (drink lots of water) an hour before exercising. You have a moderate version of prickley heat so you may not get the rash but it still itches like crazy. Once you start sweating the irritation goes away.
