Yup, the cores are definitely frozen. I would have said the one I used was just defective, but I got two in the same shipment and both of them are crappy at slushmaking. I didn’t go to the trouble of returning them though, they aren’t sold in Canada so I had to pay a pretty penny to ship them here and it would have been the same to send them back. If I think ahead an hour it works.

She also bought the Space Bag. They must be made out of wet tissue paper or something because they seemed to rip and become useless if you even blinked at them.

p.s. For cleaning blinds, I’m going to tout the praises of the Swiffer stick-thingy. You know, a stick and then you buy some fuzzy swiffer thingies to go on them. They are proving absolutely invaluable as we move; it actually PICKS UP dust instead of pushing it around, and we have more dust than…than…Oh somebody else make a simile, I’ve gotta go Swiff a cat.
Actually, maybe I’ll just spray Endust ON the cats and let them run around the place, hrm…
